3 Days Ngorongoro Safari
3 Days Ngorongoro Safari is a short trip to Tanzania that will see you travel to Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania.
Day 1 – Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
3 Days Ngorongoro Safari will start when our driver-guide picks you up from your accommodation facility/hotel in Arusha and briefs you about your upcoming safari before transferring to Lake Manyara National Park.
Upon arrival at Lake Manyara National Park, you will proceed to check in at your lodge, where you will have lunch, relax for a few minutes, and embark on your tour into the wild for an evening game drive.
The park attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, the unique tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos which are attracted by the algae in the lake, more birds like Egyptian Goose, secretary birds among others. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Transfer from Lake Manyara national park to Ngorongoro crater
Wake up early and with our lunch boxes, we drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes around 1 hour, passing through the highlands of the Great Rift Valley. Reaching the entry gate, where we do the clearing and later proceed to the center of the park, where we have a stopover at the crater viewpoint to enjoy taking more pictures before we proceed to the entry point of the crater.
There are a lot of cultural villages along the way to the entry point where one can stop for a visit to the Maasai tribe before we enter the crater. We shall arrive at the entry and descend over 550 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to view wildlife for the rest of the day, for the climax of our 3 Days Ngorongoro Safari.
Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, eland, warthog, zebra, buffalo, hippo, and giant African elephants, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards.
We shall then visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are usually found here. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 3 Ngorongoro to Arusha
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Arusha; depending on your flight schedules, we can do any community activity before drop-off in Arusha.
