Distance from Arusha to Ngorongoro crater is not a long journey since the distance is around 191 kilometres. It also saves driving time one could take when using the road as the traffic is tight on the speed limit.  There are several domestic flights like Air Tanzania, Precision Air, Coastal air, Regional airstrip, Flight Link and others that depart daily several airstrips in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Other prominent airstrips are located on the Northern Ngorongoro Crater in the Ndutu area like Lake Ndutu Airstrip. Guests can use any of the two options of scheduled flights or chartered flights.

In alternative way, one can reduce the distance from Arusha to Ngorongoro crater through catching up a flight to Seronera airstrip and later transfer to Ngorongoro crater conservation Area. This option is better for guests who would wish to discover the best of the Heritage sites that is the endless plains of Serengeti national park and the Northern Ngorongoro crater.
