Day 1 Arusha to Ngorongoro
Be met by a Focus East Africa professional driver-guide who will brief you on your 2 days safari. After the brief briefing of the itinerary, we start our drive to the Karatu region to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will arrive at the park in the early afternoon, have clearance at the gate, and then drive to the descending point of the crater with a brief stop at the viewpoint of the crater.
Supported year around the crater supports a wide variety of animals year-round, like rare black Rhinos, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, and warthog, among others. Ngorongoro Crater boasts a large number of predators in the crater, like Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, jackals, and others.
The crater has a great record per capita of lions that are found in the crater, as it’s recorded that the Ngorongoro Crater has over 60 lions. We later come out of the crater and drive to our lodge for refreshment and dinner.
Day 2 Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara to Arusha
After your early breakfast, we transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, the home of Tree climbing lions. We will have a half-day game drive in search of tree-climbing lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, Gazelles, Baboons, hippos, kobs, among others.
The park is gifted with a large and wide range of birds, especially the water birds that like alkaline waters, like Flamingos. After our game drive, we transfer to Arusha to catch up with our late flight back home or be dropped at your hotel in the evening, depending on your next program.
