Detailed 10 Days Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival, Materuni Waterfalls Visit
You will start your safari with a pick-up at the airport. Your Tanzania safari guides shall brief you about the safari and thereafter drive to the foothills of Kilimanjaro Mountain. Enjoy a mini Materuni Waterfalls walk at the foothills of the Kilimanjaro Mountain, whilst being rewarded with amazing scenery of the Materuni Waterfalls, communities, and the Kilimanjaro Mountain, punctuated with a lunch stop.
Thereafter, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest for the rest of the afternoon, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Arusha Serena Resort and Spa for Luxury I, Gran Melia Arusha for Luxury II.

Day 2: Transfer to Central Serengeti National Park
Drive Time: Approx. 7 hours
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to Serengeti National Park. With your packed lunch, you will proceed to transfer to Serengeti National Park, the much sought-after Tanzania national park! Look out for wild game species such as zebras, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, antelopes, among others, with a mini game drive. Look out for wildlife, still as you drive to your camp of stay, enjoying amazing sunset views as well! Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Wildlife Lodge for Luxury I, Melia Serengeti Lodge for Luxury II.

Day 3&4. 4th & 5th June: Full day in Serengeti National Park (Western Corridor)
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park as you prepare for your morning game drive towards the western area of the park. You will also enjoy seeing a variety of wildlife species, which are very active during the morning and can be seen grazing around the national park. Chance to witness the great wildebeest migration crossing of the Grumeti River!
Engage in another game drive and enjoy looking out for wildlife species grazing in the open savannah of Serengeti National Park, like elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, buffaloes, elands, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos, among others. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at Kirawira Serena Camp / Mbalageti Serengeti for Luxury I, Singita Sasakwa Camp for Luxury II.

Day 5: Central Serengeti Game Drive, Relaxed Afternoon
You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti National Park as you prepare for your morning game drive. There are over 4000 lions in Serengeti National Park, you shall see many of them and in prides too!

Day 6: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Maasai Bomas Visit
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination, which is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through the history of mankind.
Enjoy a game drive in the conservation area as you drive to the Maasai Bomas for a cultural tour and encounter with the local tribe of the Maasai that live in the conservancy! Check in at the lodge later, relax as you wait for dinner, and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge for Luxury I, Ngorongoro Lodge by Melia for Luxury II.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Drive to Arusha Airport, Fly to ZNZ
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours
After breakfast, with your packed lunch, head out for 6 hour game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater, which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5, which includes lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, and warthogs, among others.
There are also different bird species which can be spotted around Ngorongoro Crater, like ostriches, as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi.
After your game drive around the Ngorongoro Crater, leave the crater for a transfer to Arusha Airport, arriving in time for your flight departing at 16:45hours.
Upon arrival at the airport, meet your driver for a transfer to the hotel. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Enjoy a stone town tour in Zanzibar, and get to learn about the cultures and history of Zanzibar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel as above.
