4 days Ngorongoro and Serengeti safari is a safari which will start in Arusha and you will visit the Ngorongoro crater and also enjoy a Tanzania safari to Serengeti national park where you will explore the Seronera area.
You will engage in a game drive in Ngorongoro crater and also the Serengeti national park as you search for various wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, impalas among others. You will also see flamingos during your safari o the Ngorongoro crater.

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti national park
Day 3: Serengeti national park to Karatu
Day 4: Karatu – Arusha
Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and welcome you for your safari. You will drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro conservation area. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s largest inactive caldera formed as a result of volcanic activity. There are various wildlife species which can be seen during safaris around the crater such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos among others as well as bird species like flamingos. You will engage in a game drive after descending about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater.
During the game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, you will also enjoy the beautiful views around the crater area as well as wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, lions, leopards, hippos, waterbucks, antelopes, gazelles, impalas, elands and many others. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi in the Ngorongoro crater. You will have your dinner and overnight at Rhino Ngorongoro lodge.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti national park
After having breakfast, you will be driven to Serengeti national park where you will engage in an afternoon game drive as you explore the savannah plains of the national park and look out for different wildlife species such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, leopards, lions and many others.
You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery around the central part of Serengeti national park as you drive around the national park during your Tanzania safari. After exploring Serengeti national park on your afternoon game drive, you will proceed to the campsite for dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage luxury tented camps and lodges.
Day 3: Serengeti – Karatu
You will have breakfast ahead of your morning game drive around Serengeti national park as you explore the savannah plains and prepare for your drive from Seronera to Karatu. You will enjoy seeing wildlife species as you drive from the campsite such as elephants, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, hyenas, lions among others.
You will continue to your lodge in Karatu for check in and dinner and overnight will be at Eileen’s tree inn.
Day 4: Karatu – Arusha
You will have breakfast as you prepare for a drive back to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport which will bring your Tanzania Wildlife safari to an end.
