6 days Uganda and Kenya luxury safari : During your 6 days Uganda and Kenya luxury safari, you will start the safari with pick up in Nairobi and continue your drive to Masai Mara national reserve in south western Kenya.

You will engage in morning and afternoon game drives in Masai Mara reserve as you search for different wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks among others. You will also take a flight to Entebbe in Uganda and get another flight to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park in the south western part of Uganda.

Another activity you will engage in during the 6 days Uganda and Kenya luxury safari is gorilla trekking in Buhoma. The safari will end with a flight to Entebbe from Kihihi airstrip.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: pick up from Nairobi and drive to Masai Mara

Drive time; 5 hours

You will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your itinerary. After briefing, you will proceed to Masai Mara national reserve. The drive will take about 4 to 5 hours. You will have a stopover in Narok town before continuing to your lodge where you will check in and have lunch.

You will also engage in an evening game drive around Masai Mara national reserve later during the day and you will see a variety of wildlife species such as prides of lions, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, zebras, impalas among others as well as a variety of bird species. After your evening game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Serena lodge.

Day 2 and Day 3: morning and afternoon game drives

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will engage in a full day of exploring the plains of Masai Mara national reserve as you search for the different wildlife species. you will engage in a morning game drive as you look out for wildlife species such as the big five which includes leopards, lions, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos.

You will have your lunch and engage in an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara reserve and look out for wildlife species around the savannah plains such as giraffes, elands, wildebeest, zebras, topis among others. After your afternoon game drive, you will return to your lodge where you will have dinner and overnight at Mara Serena lodge.

Day 4; flight to Entebbe and flight to Bwindi national park

After breakfast at your lodge in Masai Mara, your guide will drive you to Mara Serena airstrip in for your flight to Entebbe. You will also take an afternoon flight to Bwindi national park. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Mahogany springs lodge.

Day 5; Gorilla trekking

You will wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for the gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park. You will go with your packed lunches for the gorilla trekking experience. On arrival at the park headquarters, you will be briefed gorilla trekking by the park rangers ahead of the gorilla trekking activity. After briefing you will proceed into the Bwindi forest where you will search for the gorillas.

During the gorilla trekking experience, you will follow different trails as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas before returning to the briefing point where you will be met by your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mahogany springs lodge.

Day 6; flight to Entebbe

After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Kihihi airstrip for your flight to Entebbe airport which will bring your safari to an end.
