Trekking experience at the crater
Watch for views of the turquoise lake below and the ideal volcanic cone of Ol Doinyo Lengai out to the northeast as you make your way to the crater floor. You should allow 30 minutes to get to the shoreline and an hour to get back up there. The lake can be circled on foot, but it will take at least four hours.

You would have to go through bouncy dirt roads that are occasionally maintained because there are no asphalt roads in the area.
