Day 1. Lemosho Glades to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Your hiking safari begins here at Lemosho Glades, which is 2,385 meters, heading towards the Mti Mkubwa camps, which is found at an elevation of 2,750 meters above sea level. You will be surrounded by the lush rainforest of Kilimanjaro, which is rich with Flora and fauna. You will be hiking for about 4-5 hours before reaching Mti Mkubwa camps, where you will spend your night in the middle of the giant trees.
Day 2. Hiking toward the Shira camps
Hiking on this day will be longer compared to the first day. You will hike for about 5 to 6 hours before reaching the Shira camps, which are found at an elevation of 3,505 meters above sea level. This day, you will experience beautiful and dramatic changes in the landscape as the moorland zone slowly unfolds when ascending higher. You will also have the most rewarding views of the Shira plateau while enjoying the preview of the grandeur that awaits you.
Day 3. Shira camps 1 to Shira camps 2
Day 3 is going to be shorter than the rest of the hiking days. You will need enough rest to give your body enough time for acclimatization. The Shira Camp 2 is found at an elevation of 3,850 meters and has a spectacular view of Kilimanjaro mountain.
Day 4. Hiking to Barranco Camp
On this 4th day, hiking will take about 6-7 hours, and you will hike through challenging places, yet they will give you the rewarding and stunning sceneries of the Garden of Senecious and the thrilling view of the Lava Tower. The descent towards this camp will allow your body to adjust to the altitude changes.
Day 5. Barranco camp to Karanga camp
The Karanga camp is found at an elevation of 3,995 meters above sea level. Hiking from the Barranco camp towards the Karanga camp takes about 4-5 hours of trekking. You will hike on the famous Barranco wall, which stands at 4,600 meters and has a breathtaking view of the surroundings.
Day 6. Hiking towards Barafu camps

Day 7. Uhuru peak
Trekking towards the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro normally begins at midnight with the headlamps under the starry night. Before the sun gets too hot and you start freezing, you will begin descending towards the Mweka camp which is found at 1,630 meters down.
Day 8. Mweka camps to Mweka gate
The final day for your adventure hiking ends today. You will descend through the thick rainforest of Kilimanjaro and finally arrive at the Mweka gate. Descending takes 3-4 hours; you will have some time to celebrate with the rest of your team your achievement and finish up the official procedures.
