Plantation Lodge
Plantation Lodge is a mid-range accommodation located outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania. The lodge is about 20 minutes’ drive, or 12 km, from the Ngorongoro entrance. It is also close to Karatu village in the Ngorongoro Highlands.
The lodge sits on 5 acres of land. It is surrounded by a lush, colorful garden with mature trees and plants. Its location offers easy access to some of Tanzania’s best-known national parks and wildlife areas, including:

How to Get to Plantation Lodge
Plantation Lodge is easy to reach from Arusha and other parts of northern Tanzania.
By road
The drive from Arusha takes approximately 3–4 hours on a tarmac road. The route passes through Makuyuni and Karatu before reaching the lodge.
By air
You can also fly to Lake Manyara Airstrip. The flight from Arusha takes about 45 minutes. From the airstrip, the lodge is about a 20-minute drive.
Airport transfers can be arranged to take guests from the airstrip to the lodge.
