Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire National Park, Game Drive
On day 1 of the 21 Days Tanzania Migration and Uganda Primates Safari, your Tanzania safari guide will meet you and welcome you for the safari at the airport upon arrival. He will brief you about your safari at hand and will proceed on a transfer to Tarangire National Park which is known for its large herds of elephants. You will also look out for various wildlife species such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, hartebeest, wildebeest, elands, impalas, and many bird species.
You will also enjoy beautiful views of the baobab and acacia trees where the wildlife species take shelter. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Heritage Manyara Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive, Guided Walking Safari
On day 2 of the 21 Days Tanzania Migration and Uganda Primates Safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge and with your packed lunches, you will proceed into the wilderness of the national park to engage in a morning game drive. You will enjoy looking out for wildlife species during your safari such as elephants, dik-dik, leopards, and buffalos, and a chance to see the tree-climbing lions, and gazelles among others. This national park also has over 400 bird species and you will see different birds during your safari.
After having a picnic lunch, you will relax and later in the late afternoon hours engage in a guided walking safari inside Lake Manyara National Park, to explore more attractions and enjoy seeing wildlife species. You will return to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night as above.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
On day 3 of the 21 Days Tanzania Migration and Uganda Primates Safari, after an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park to explore the vast savannah plains in search of more wildlife species such as the big 5 like lions, elephants, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. You will have lunch at your lodge in the national park before you engage in an evening game drive to search for wildlife species like zebras, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, kudu, gazelles, hyenas and many others. You will have dinner and overnight at Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.

Day 4, 5&6: Full day in Serengeti National Park (Northern Serengeti)
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to engage in a morning game drive around Serengeti national park. During your morning game drive, you will search for different wildlife species like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks and many others. You will have your lunch before another game-driving experience in the national park in the afternoon. These game drives will chance you spotting the iconic and much sought-after Mara River Crossing!
Your guide will drive you around the national park in the northern part of Serengeti National Park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains, especially the migrating herds! Chance to witness the great wildebeest Mara River crossing. You will return to your lodge after this experience for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 7: Mara River Area Game Drive, Transfer to Western Serengeti, Night Game Drive
Today, wake up at leisure, enjoy breakfast and with a paced lunch check out and transfer to western Serengeti National Park. Look out for wild game en-route. following your flight and long drive the previous day. Have a sumptuous breakfast and relax at the camp. Get to interact with the friends you made at the camp, enjoy a leisurely lunch as well. Later after dinner, head out for a night game drive, an experience sought after by many! Get to see the Serengeti skyline in the night, with a chance to spot a variety of nocturnal animals. Return to the camp for an overnight stay at Ikoma Tented Camp.

Day 8: Full day in Serengeti National Park, Evening Walking Safari
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park on a game drive while looking for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, among others.
You can also enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes among others.
Embark on an evening walking safari to see the sun as it sets over the horizon, and coming up close with animals like giraffes and zebras! Your guide will take you back to the camp thereafter. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 9. Game Drive towards Central Serengeti National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, your guide will drive you towards the central part of Serengeti National Park as you look out for different attractions and wildlife species in the distant plains. You will proceed to your camp after this experience for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Crater Rim Walk
You will have breakfast before leaving Serengeti National Park and driving to your next wildlife viewing destination which is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With your packed lunch drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will enjoy an Ol Duvai Gorge visit for a lesson through history of mankind. Enjoy a game drive in the conservation area as you drive to your lodge for check-in and an overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit
On day 11 of the 21 Days Tanzania Migration and Uganda Primates Safari, after breakfast, with your packed lunch head out for full day game drive in the crater. You will descend 600 meters into the crater which is home to numerous wildlife species like the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, and warthogs among others.
There are also different bird species that can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater like ostriches as well as flamingos common along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, you will enjoy a Maasai Bomas visit to interact with the locals, and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 12: Drive to JRO, Flight to Uganda (Own Booking)
After a relaxed breakfast, check out and proceed to transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, the hotel shall pick you, up and transfer you to the hotel. Check in, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Best Western Entebbe.

Day 13: Transfer to Jinja, Source of the Nile Visit
You will be picked by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your trip in Uganda. After the briefing, you will proceed to be driven to Jinja where you will see sugar and tea plantations along the way, and roadside markets. You will drive to Jinja where you will have lunch. You will also visit the source of the Nile on a boat ride, and later proceed to your hotel for dinner and overnight will be at 2 Friends Jinja.

Day 14: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, Tea Plantation Visit
You will drive to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. The journey takes about 3 hours’ drive and on the way you will have lunch and enjoy stunning views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, tea plantation among others.
Upon arrival in Kibale national park, you will continue to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.

Day 15: Chimpanzee Trekking, Bigodi Swamp Walk
After an early breakfast you will be driven to Kanyachu Visitors Centre for briefing on the chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing you will be allocated a chimpanzee family to trek and a park guide who is well conversant with trails in the forest.
Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location because they like to move from one place to another in search of food and once the chimpanzees have been located, you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn more about their lifestyle, behaviors, watch them feed, enjoy the juveniles playing up in the trees, take photos and record videos with a flashless camera. After the one-hour encounter with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch.
Bigodi swamp walk
After lunch you will go for an interesting nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to view different primate species, birds, mammals, and plant and tree species among others. After the swamp walk, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 16: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park from where you shall get to enjoy a game drive. Check in at your hotel, relax as you wait for lunch. Later head out for a game drive in the park, introducing you to the wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park, named after the late Queen of England, HRH Queen Elizabeth. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant HAB Lodge.

Day 17: Game drive and Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for a game drive in search of early risers in the Kasenyi area. The park has a diverse eco-system of grassy plains, rivers, crater lakes, forests, swamps, and lakes. These are home to various types of wildlife and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth will reward you with views of animals such as lions, antelopes, buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob, and other types of antelopes.
Return to your Lodge for lunch and after, go for a 3 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This cruise will let you pass through a place of the highest concentration of hippos and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers a good platform for photography, bird watching, and game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 18: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will have lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park and you will check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge.

Day 19: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will be driven by your guide to the park headquarters for a briefing on the gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. After briefing, you will continue into the forest in groups to look out for the gorillas in their natural habitat.
When you find the gorillas in the forest, you will spend 1 hour with them, enjoy taking photos, and observe the gorillas before returning to the briefing point to meet your guide. Return to the lodge, enjoy lunch and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 20: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Guided Walking Safari
After your breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed on a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park (this is to break the long driving hours to Bwindi from Jinja). Make a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for a polar water experiment. Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out for a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo national Park for a chance to stretch after the drive, and come up-close with nature and wild game including zebras, antelopes and so much more! Dinner and an overnight stay at Archadia Mburo Lodge.

Day 21: Departure
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you shall check out and proceed on a transfer to Kampala with en-route stops for lunch and rests. You shall be dropped off at the airport, or hotel of stay in Kampala/Entebbe, bringing your 21 Days Tanzania Migration and Uganda Primates Safari to an end.
