Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Batwa Cultural Tour
On this 1st day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari, our Uganda safari guide shall pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. After a short briefing, you shall proceed to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy seeing the typical Uganda countryside, the greenery, plantations, and locals going about their work and life, as well as the scenic beauty of the changing landscapes all throughout.
Have a couple of en-route stops including a lunch break at a select restaurant. Proceed on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the late afternoon/evening. Enjoy a Batwa cultural experience once in Bwindi. Check in at the lodge; relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Community Rest Camp for Budget, Buhoma Haven Lodge for Mid-range, Mahogany Springs Lodge for Lower-Luxury.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Relaxed Late Afternoon
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to the sector headquarters with your safari guide. Join the rest of the travelers for a briefing session about gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Thereafter, you shall be placed in groups of 8 and allocated a gorilla family to track.
Gorilla tracking can take anything from 2 -7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Look out for other wild game like monkeys and birds while walking in the forest, all the while learning about the plants and all there is in the rainforest. Once you encounter the mountain gorillas, you shall spend up to one hour with the gorillas observing their behavior and way of life. Track back to the starting point thereafter, meet your guide and return to the lodge. Enjoy lunch, and relax from the long trek. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge or camp in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, this 3rd day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari has you driving back to Kampala on a 9-10 hours’ drive. Enjoy scenic views en-route, have a number of rest stops as per will including an Equator water experiment in Kayabwe, as well as a lunch stop at a select restaurant. Our Uganda safari guide shall drop you off at your hotel of stay in Entebbe or Kampala, or airport if flying back on the same day. This ends your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Safari.
