Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Migration Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Ngorongoro Area, Crater Drive
You will be picked up from your hotel of stay in Arusha and welcomed for your safari. After a short safari brief, proceed on a transfer to the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, with your packed lunch box. You will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests for a game drive of up to 6 hours.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing.

Day 2: Transfer to Central Serengeti, Game Drive
Proceed to transfer to the Serengeti national park’s central area famous for the big cats and diverse wild game.
Once in the park, proceed to the camp whilst looking out for wild game including lion prides and so much more; check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3&4: Full day in Serengeti National Park (Northern Region)
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy full day to explore the Serengeti National Park on a game drive from the central area to the Northern Serengeti famous for the wildebeest migration. Look out for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, cheetahs, among others. Chance to witness the Mara River crossing!
You can also enjoy your lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes among others. Your guide will take you back to the lodge later. Dinner and night at the lodge.
