7 days Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar safari
7 days Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar safari is a safari experience will start in Arusha and you will tour the northern part of Tanzania and visit the famous Serengeti national park and also the Ngorongoro conservation area.
You will also engage in game drives around Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro crater as you look out for different wildlife species. After your wildlife viewing experience, you will fly to Zanzibar island from Seronera airstrip and you will enjoy relaxing at the beach and the tour will also end with a flight out of Zanzibar.
Day 1; arrival
On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, your guide will welcome you from the airport and drive you to your hotel for check in. You will have a short briefing about your safari and depending on your time of arrival you will engage in a tour around Arusha town and later return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; drive to Ngorongoro crater
On the 2nd 7 days Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar safari, after an early breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you from your hotel in Arusha to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will also visit Ol duvai gorge and later descend about 600 meters into the crater.
You will engage in a game drive around the Ngorongoro crater and search for wildlife species like rhinos, buffalos, elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, kudu, waterbucks, hippos among others. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos and other birds during your tour and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; Ngorongoro to Serengeti national park
You will enjoy a tour around Serengeti national park after an early breakfast and checking out of the lodge. Your guide will drive you to the central part of the national park where you will search for the various wildlife species during a game drive.
After your game drive around Serengeti national park, your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park
After your breakfast early at your lodge, your guide will take you on a morning game viewing experience around the vast savannah plains of Serengeti national park where you will look for wildlife species like the big five and also wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs among others.
You will also have lunch after your morning game drive and later engage in another game drive in the national park to search for other wildlife species and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5; flight to Zanzibar island
On the 5th 7 days Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar safari, your guide will drive you to Seronera airstrip after breakfast at your lodge for your flight to Zanzibar island. On arrival at the airport in Zanzibar you will be picked up and driven to your hotel for check in and for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6; Zanzibar beach tour
You will engage in a number of activities after breakfast at your lodge such as a snorkeling experience in the Indian ocean, boat rides, a city tour around the island and also visit the prison island where you will see the giant tortoises. You will also tour the spice plantation and after this experience, you will return to your hotel where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7; departure
On the last day of your tour, you will have breakfast and check out of your hotel and you will be driven to the airport for your flight out of Zanzibar which will bring the safari to an end.
