Detailed Itinerary 9 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your Uganda safari guide will pick you from Entebbe or Kampala and welcome you for your safari. After a short briefing, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park through communities and scenic parts of the Ugandan countryside. Enjoy stops at the Equator and lunch, and then proceed to the park. Once in the park, check in at the lodge; relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge for Mid-range, Buhoma Community Rest Camp for Budget.

Day 2: Gorilla trek in Bwindi forest Park
Early in the morning after breakfast and a briefing from the UWA officials, set off for the gorilla tracking. This is a once lifetime experience and unforgettable adventure. The ranger guides will lead you into the thick forest and start your search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about1hour.
The activity can take 2 -7 hours since the gorillas move up and down. This is an awesome and exciting moment where you will be able to see other types of the primates such as monkeys, birds, and more. Return for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe for a Flight to Tanzania (Own Booking- Book late evening flight)
Drive Time: Approx. 9 hours. Flight Option available
After breakfast at the lodge, check out for a transfer to Entebbe with a lunch and Equator water experiment stop. Arrive in time for your flight to Tanzania.

Day 4: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater Tanzania, Crater Rim Walking Safari, Masai Bomas
You shall be picked up at the airport or hotel in Arusha by our company driver guide. He will welcome you to Tanzania and for the safari, and brief you about the same. You will proceed to drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will engage in a walking safari. During your walking safari, a ranger will accompany you and you will get a close encounter with your natural surroundings in Ngorongoro and get to know how to track animals. After this experience, interact with the locals that live with the wild game in the Masai Bomas of Ngorongoro. Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn for Budget, Hhando Coffee Lodge for Mid-range.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
With your packed lunch, leave the lodge for a full day in the Ngorongoro crater floor. You will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park. You will have lunch in the national park and later you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the big 5 and many others during your safari.
During your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park, you will look out for a variety of wildlife and bird species such as elephants, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, zebras, rhinos, buffalos, hippos, cheetahs, elands, waterbucks, kudus, lions, leopards, impalas, gazelles among others. You will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7&8: Full Day Serengeti
After breakfast at your lodge, you will head out with your packed lunch for a full day Serengeti National Park safari experience. You will have lunch ahead of another wildlife experience in the national park.
Later in the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 9: Departure
