Hhando Coffee Lodge

Hhando Coffee Lodge is one of the new properties that has been established outside Ngorongoro conservation area 10 minutes’ drive from the main gate. Hhando coffee lodge sits in 15 acres of coffee farm sailing like an Ark. The lodge has 10 superb cottages and 3 family Bungalows all with fireplace. All our cottages have private balcony that gives you opportunity to have a clear view of the environment. 

The lodge provides the best meals in Karatu with our experienced chefs, our meals are served in our main dining hall. Breakfast is served as early as 6:30 am, lunches are served from 12:30 pm to 2:30pm and parked lunches boxes are provided to guest who go for crater game drives and dinner served from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The lodge staff is very friendly and professional, while the food is more of continual and local dishes which are very delicious and enjoyable.

Hhando coffee lodge is a home away from home that give you real life experience of African in the modern world located in the remote area of Karatu in the coffee plantations.

They have a clean big swimming pool which caters for both adults and young ones. The fire camp accompanied by local performances and dances in the evening, Bar which is fully stocked up, walk up calls with coffee and tea, Room services available 24 hours, laundry services and barbeques with born fire on request.

Activities: The key activities are Nature walks on the plantations of coffee, birding, cultural tours and game drive on Ngorongoro crater.
