Kirurumu Ngorongoro Camp is a 3-star mid-range accommodation found in the Ngorongoro Crater Rim Valley, close to the access road overlooking the Ngorongoro Highlands in Tanzania. One of the old East African safari companies owns and manages the camp, operating various properties throughout Tanzania.
The camp is convenient and in a perfect place for tourists and travelers who want to explore and discover the three national parks: Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, and Tarangire National Park with their spectacular views, especially Crater Rim and surrounding areas.
How to get there:
You can be at the lodge by either road transport from Arusha city, taking approximately 3-4 hours’ drive to the Ngorongoro crater then 45 flights to the close manyara airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp
About the camp
Kirurumu Ngorongoro Camp consists of 10 spacious and comfortable tented cottages with double/twin beds and family-customized safari tents that reflect African building style.
Tents are well elevated on a raised platform and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden beds with clean bedding, free toiletries, free bottled water, and white duvets/bedding, among many others.
Tents have private verandas and sitting areas overlooking the incredible views of the landscape and crater Rim.
There is a campfire area with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share stories about the Tanzania wildlife safari as they enjoy the wonderful views and the perfect place to watch the sunset.

The park
Ngorongoro Crater is located in the northern part of Tanzania, near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in the Great Rift Valley, covering a total area of 8,292 km and is 3 million years old. The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful, breathtaking Views.
The park features various attractions, including the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Salei Plains, Olkarien Gorge, diverse flora and fauna, stunning scenery, and many more.
The park offers various categories of accommodation, including budget, mid-range, and luxury options that are convenient and affordable for guests visiting the area. The park contains short grasses, more highlands, and other beautiful volcanoes. The area has over 25,000 large animals, including 26 black rhinoceroses, more than 100 lions, 7,000 wildebeests, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 elands, and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. The park has different animals, including the big five mammals of the world ; lion ,Buffaloes, elephant, leopards ,Rhinos ,zebras , impalas, antelopes and different bird species.

The Park gives a stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater since it’s the largest caldera in the world and the surrounding areas. There are more masaai mara pastoralists in Ngorongoro park . June –july and late January and February are the best month to travel in Tanzania for a safari especially Ngorongoro side
