Osonjoi Lodge
Osonjoi Lodge is a newly built luxury accommodation owned and operated by lemala collection that runs unique properties across East Africa. The lodge is situated on the Hill at the edge of the quadrant Ngorongoro crater, Close to lemala gate of Ngorongoro conservation areas (Wildlife–dense Ngorongoro crater) in Northern Tanzania. The LODGE is situated a few hours away from Lake Manyara National Park. The lodge is in a perfect base to stay away from the crowd while enjoying the quiet and beautiful environment. One can be at the lodge by road transport from Arusha international airport takes approximately 3-4 hour’s drive on a tarmac road from Arusha to the lodge through mayukuni and karatu and 40 minutes to fly to the close lake Manyara Airstrip then a few minutes to drive from airstrip to the lodge.
Osonjoi lodge consists of 20 luxury and elegant Suites with 2 family interconnecting suites overlooking the beautiful forest that reflect traditional building style with comfort and ambiance. All Suites are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, bathrooms with hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden beds with clean and washed beddings, free bottled water, free toiletries, slippers mention but few, wooden chairs and tables, white duvets, and pillows to mention but a few. Rooms have private verandas, Balcony, and sitting areas, overlooking the stunning view over the forest canopy and surrounding area. There is a campfire pit where guests relax and share experiences about the safari; it also provides warmth to visitors at night. Tents are in different sizes with single beds for individuals, double/ twin beds for sharing as well as family rooms.

Ngorongoro crater is found in the Northern part of Tanzania close to the Ngorongoro conservation area in the great rift valley covering a total area of 8,292km and is 3 million years old . The crater is the best place in East Africa with beautiful breathtaking Views. There are different attractions in the park which include; wild beast migration from Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater , Salei Plains and Ol karien Gorge, a variety flora and Fauna, stunning scenery and many more attractions. The park has different categories of accommodations like; Budget, Mid-range and luxury accommodations that are convenient and affordable to guests visiting the area. The park contains short grasses with more highlands and other beautiful volcanoes. The area have over 25,000 large animals including 26 black rhinoceros and over 100 lions, 7,000 wild beasts, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 eland and 3,000 Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles. The park has different animals including the big five mammals of the world; lions, Buffaloes, elephants, leopards, Rhinos, zebras, impalas, antelopes and different bird species. There are more different activities to do while in the Park which include; Game viewing at the crater and lake Eyasi viewpoint to different animals migrating Crater viewing, Cultural visits in the local village, Hiking the Gol Mountains in the remote areas of the park, Crater Rim Nature walks, Bird watching in the park, Visiting archaeological like oldivai gorge museum and many other activities. The Park gives a stunning view of the Ngorongoro Crater since it’s the largest caldera in the world and the surrounding areas. There are more Maasai mara pastoralists in Ngorongoro Park. its 80$ per person entering Ngorongoro park . June –july and late January and February are the best months to travel in Tanzania for a safari, especially the Ngorongoro side.
