Ngorongoro Farm House

Ngorongoro Farm House is one of the most exclusive lodges found in Karatu area near Ngorongoro conservation area facing the most famous Oldeani mountains just 5 kilometers away from the Ngorongoro Lolduare gate. The lodge is set on the Coffee plantations of Karatu area with lovely view of the virgin forest, hearing only the songs of the birds sing at the background of the lodge.

Ngorongoro Farmhouse is hand plaited thatched roof tops, colonial interiors with ample verandas, it sits on 500 acres of coffee plantations that give you an option of a walk around the farm to contemplate the daily activities, relaxing and enjoying the spectacular sunset of Africa. The lodge has 52 chalets rooms, 49 are standard rooms and 3 are suites all built in the colonial style

Facilities: The main house which is grass thatched is an open dining hall with a lounge and big restaurant with large terrace that provides spectacular views to the Oldean volcanic mountain. On some occasions buffet meals are served, guests enjoy fresh vegetables that are grown within the farmland. Other available facilities at Ngorongoro Farm House Are Swimming pool, farm walk, credit card payment, free Wi-Fi, restaurant, room services, free parking, electricity, internal or room telephones. Organic coffee and cakes are available on daily basis any time at the main building, Massage cabin is also available at no extra costs. The farm house is a stop off during your trip to the Northern corridor circuit of greater Tanzania, one can enjoy a wide range of activities like visiting the crater, walking safaris, birding, excursion of cultural tours in Lake Eyasi visiting the Hadzabe tribe and trekking in Ngorongoro conservation Area. This guided walks takes you to specific areas of the conservation area that are remote and cannot be explored by car like reaching to the waterfalls and descend to Empakai crater.
