6 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Wildlife Safari starts with pick up from the airport who will welcome you as you begin your journey to different destination around Tanzania such as the famous Serengeti national park which is also known for the wildebeest migration and also for being one of the oldest national parks in Tanzania. You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives during your stay in Serengeti national park before proceeding to ngorongoro conservation area. Serengeti national park is also one of the seven natural wonders of Africa where the movement of over 2 million wildebeests takes place.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; pick up and drive to Arusha hotel

Your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international airport and welcome you for your safari. You will also have a short briefing and then proceed to your hotel in Arusha for check in. dinner and overnight will be at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.

Day 2; drive to Serengeti national park

On the second day of your 6 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Wildlife Safari , you will have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha and prepare for a drive to one of the oldest national parks in Tanzania which is Serengeti national park where you will enjoy seeing wildlife species like the big five which include elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos.

You will have lunch at your lodge in Serengeti national park as you prepare for an afternoon game drive while on the 6 days safari as you explore the wilderness of the national park and look out for wildlife species like wildebeests, elands, giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, impalas, hippos and many others. You will have dinner and spend the night at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 3; morning and afternoon game drive

Your morning game drive will start after you have enjoyed breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park during your 6 days safari in Tanzania. Serengeti national park has one of the largest populations of lions in Tanzania and you will enjoy seeing lion prides during your morning game drive on the 6 days safari in Tanzania as well as elephants, wildebeests, gazelles, impalas, zebras, leopards, cheetahs and many others.

Your lunch will be served at your lodge after you have returned from a morning game drive in Serengeti national park. After lunch, you will engage in an afternoon game drive and your guide will help you spot various wildlife species in the vast savannah plains as you drive around the national park. Your dinner and overnight will be at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park

You will spend the whole day in Serengeti national park during the 6 days Tanzania safari which is located in the northern part of Tanzania. You will have breakfast at your lodge and after this your guide will drive you around the kopjes like the Simba kopjes where you will see lions. You will explore the central part of Serengeti national park and later return to your lodge for lunch.

During your afternoon game drive in Serengeti national park, you will see wildlife species like wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, hartebeests, kudu, impalas, hippos, dik dik and many others. Serengeti national park also has over 500 bird species which can be seen during a safari. As you enjoy the scenery around and watch the sunset over the distant plains, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and to spend the night at Osinon camps and lodges.

Day 5; drive to Ngorongoro crater

You will have breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park ahead of your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will visit the world’s largest inactive caldera which covers about 260 square kilometers. You will also enjoy seeing a variety of wildlife species in big numbers such as lions, cheetahs and leopards during your 6 days safari in Tanzania. You will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater. You will have lunch before descending into the crater for your game viewing experience.

During your game drive in the ngorongoro crater on the 6 days safari in Tanzania, you will see wildlife species such as wildebeests, black spotted hyenas, zebras, antelopes, kobs, jackals, hippos, gazelles and many others. You will also enjoy seeing flamingos and Lake Magadi during your visit to the ngorongoro crater. You will have your dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.

Day 6; departure

After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Arusha where you will be dropped off at a location of your preference which will bring your 6 days Tanzania safari to an end.
