Detailed itinerary
Day 1; pick up and drive to Karatu
Your guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha and you will proceed for about 2 hours’ drive from Arusha to Karatu. Karatu is a town which is located on the way to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will interact with the local community such as the Maasai people.
During your visit to Karatu town, you will enjoy seeing the livestock kept by the Maasai such as cattle and goats in stalls in the market. You will also enjoy visiting the craft shops where you will see different local art and craft works. You will continue your drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight at the end of the 1st day of your 6 days Tanzania safari at Eileens tree inn.
Day 2; drive to Ngorongoro crater
After having breakfast at your hotel in Karatu while on your 6 days Tanzania safari, you will continue your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy views of rolling hills as well as forests and coffee plantations. You will have lunch at your lodge in Ngorongoro conservation area as you prepare for an experience in the Ngorongoro crater.
During your 6 days Tanzania safari, you will also enjoy viewing various wildlife species in big numbers such as elephants, buffalos, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, elands, waterbucks, hartebeests, hyenas, warthogs and many others. Day 3; drive to Serengeti national park

Serengeti national park is famous for the wildebeest migration and also for the big 5 which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos as well as elephants.
You will also engage in an afternoon game drive during your 6 days Tanzania safari in Serengeti national park. You will also enjoy seeing various wildlife species as you drive around the open savannah plains and see different attractions like kopjes such as the Simba kopjes which are granite rock outcrops where you will see lions sitting at the top of the rocks. Day 4; full day in Serengeti national park

You will enjoy seeing wildlife species such as elephants, impalas, elands, giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, cheetahs, hartebeests, topi, hyenas and many others. Day 5; drive to Tarangire national park
After your wildlife viewing experience in Serengeti national park during the 6 days Tanzania safari, your guide will drive you to your next wildlife viewing destination in the northern part of Tanzania which is Tarangire national park and this will take about 4 to 5 hours. Tarangire national park is known for big herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees which stand out from the rest of the national park scenery.
You will see wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, gazelles and many others among the acacia woodlands and savannah plains. Lunch will be served at your lodge during your game viewing experience in Tarangire national park. There are also over 450 bird species which can be spotted in this national park. At the end of another night of your 6 days Tanzania safari, you will have your dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.
Day 6; morning game drive and departure
You will have breakfast at your lodge in Tarangire national park on the last day of your 6 days Tanzania safari and you will have a morning game drive and you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, elands, waterbucks, zebras, buffalos, zebras, leopards, lions and many others.
You will be driven back to Arusha after your morning game drive in Tarangire national park and this will bring your 6 days Tanzania safari to an end.
