Lions Paw Camp located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a member of Karibu Camps & Lodges that provide luxury accommodation in Tanzania. Their camps are found in Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park. Lions Paw camp is nestled in a quiet grove of Acacia trees with red thorns onto of the Eastern rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

The camp is very unique on its own as its one of the few tented camps that are located in Ngorongoro Crater Area. The camp’s location was carefully selected respecting the privacy of guest in accordance with conservation of nature with a great view of the crater rims and the famous Ngorongoro crater floor.

Lions Paw Camp is a permanent tented camp that operates throughout the year. Animals of Ngorongoro are frequent visitors of the camp especially the buffalos. Guests also have a romantic view of the crater forests. Other animals easily seen while at your balcony are animals on the crater floor like Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Wildebeest, Zebras and many more.

The Lions Paw Camp offers the best services that make your African dream safari complete with warm welcoming and staff. The camp has 8 luxury tented camps made up of good heated Canvas. We have family tents that are made up of two separate bedrooms but with a shared bathroom. The camp has the following amenities: Ensuite Hot showers, Clean flushing toilets, bathrobes, mosquito nets, laundry services, 24-hour electricity supply, power strips and charging cables for all electronics. They have Radio Communication in each tent for any emergency or request of service in the room, night Campfires, sundowner, dining area, lounge and bar area, Beverages to supplement and many more.

Lions Paw Camp has experienced chefs that prepare both local and international dishes hence giving our guests a lot of open choices on diet. We take note of all dietary requests by our guests and we follow all their advice accordingly. The lodge provides all the three meals that are Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at our dining area. Parked lunch boxes are available on request by our guests at least a day before.

Activities at Lions Paw Camp

Lions Paw Camp offers a wide range of activities both indoor and outdoor activities to our guests making one feel at home away from home. The location of the camp in the middle of the wilderness has given our guests enjoy the true African wilderness even when they are inside their tents. The following are the special activities at Lions paw Camp:

Game drives: Game Drives at the bottom of the Ngorongoro crater floor where our guests enjoy African big 5 with other animals like wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelles and many more.

Bush fire: This is a relaxing point after your long day safari experience, you have arresting evening listening to story from locals and fellow travelers, taking special wines and others as we enjoy seeing the African moon and stars.

Visiting masaai bomas: The lodge provides cultural tours to the guests under request and an extra cost. Get active safari through active participation with the locals like milking of local cows, cooking, the Maasai dance.

Bush meals: Lions Paw Camp provides bush meals to guests under request, special meals for honeymooners or couples who wish to propose or surprise their beloved ones while in a safari to Tanzania.
