Ngorongoro Crater Entrance Fees 2026: Ngorongoro crater is one of the popular attraction sites located in the northern part of Tanzania which is known for being home to a large number of wildlife species and also the world’s largest inactive volcanic crater.

Additional charges area made for vehicle entry and camping in the Ngorongoro conservation area. The cars are charged depending on their weight and vehicles which do not have standard equipment for safari are not allowed in the Ngorongoro crater.

The citizen card is issued for citizens of the East African community, and the resident card is for residents of Tanzania and other east African countries interested in visiting the Ngorongoro conservation area.
Other cards used for entrance at the Ngorongoro conservation area include the nonresident cards, tour operator cards, annual vehicle cards, annual personal cards, staff cards and concession cards. These cards are produced at the gates before being allowed to enter the destination.
The East African community is a category of tourists from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi. This category of tourists may be required to provide a form of identification such as an ID or a passport at the gate.
Residents according to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority are a category of tourists who live within Tanzania. Foreign nonresidents are tourists from other countries around the world who are not from the East African countries (Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi).

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority also promotes conservation practices at the destination and formulates rules and regulations to be followed by visitors during their safaris.
