Budget Accommodation in Ngorongoro Crater
Rhino Lodge: This accommodation in Ngorongoro is located at the edge of the rim of Ngorongoro crater which gives a nice and a perfect view of the Ngorongoro crater while at the lodge. It has 24 rooms and it is opened all year round with no restrictions basing on the children’s age. The lodge offers activities such as game drives and walking safari, it is near Manyara Airstrip and it is about 3hours drive from Arusha.
Rhino lode has various power suppliers such as generators, solar panels, and inverters, it also has facilities such as electric heaters that provide hot water for showering, ensuite bathrooms, a bar, restaurant, in-room lockable box and laundry services also available but one will have to pay an extra charge.
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge: This accommodation in Ngorongoro is a 4-star lodge located in the Ngorongoro conservation area and it is 11.2 kilometers from Lake Magadi, 32.4 kilometers from Karatu playground. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge: Is among the Sopa properties located in the highest point of Ngorongoro crater rim where it stands half-kilometer above the Ngorongoro crater floor. Ngorongoro Sopa lodged is about 189 kilometers from Arusha to the Eastern rim of the crater.
The lodge is accessible through driving and flying to Manyara Airstrip and then transferred to the Lodge by private car or the of the company that visitors are booked with.
Flying hours from Arusha to Manyara Airstrip is about 30 minutes and one hour and 30 minutes transfer till to the lodge. Driving hours from Arusha to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is almost four (4) hours.

Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp: It is located in the Ngorongoro Crater rim in the Ngorongoro conservation area that offers canvas tents, tea and coffee-making facilities and bathroom with shower and toilet, bar area, lounge and also a campfire which is lit in the evening.
Activities that guests can be enjoyed while at Lemala Ngorongoro camp are walking safaris, game drives, and Hiking. From the lodge to Manyara airstrip is about one and a half hours of drive.
