Ngorongoro Crater Service fees are charged per safari car per day (Half day). All tourists are supposed to pay the park entry fees which are valid in 24 hours. If one stays inside the conservation area the fees are valid and expire once one checks out from the park.
Like any other park, Ngorongoro crater service fees are the basic which guides guests who are planning to visit the park. The crater is managed by the Ngorongoro crater Conservation Area Authority which collects all the park dues and crater service fees. This information is more vital especially for the travelers who like traveling by themselves (Self-drive).
The service fees also come with extra government taxes which is 18% per day per guest. All Ngorongoro crater fees are paid using credit cards like Visa, Master Card and others no cash is accepted at the gate, one can pay at the bank before coming to the park and uses the bank payment slip or number at the gate.
Ngorongoro crater service fees are 295$ which includes the 18% taxes. The fee is valid for one entry only which is a half-day period. Apart from the Ngorongoro crater service , one has to pay for Ngorongoro crater park entry fees which are valid for 24 hours if one stays inside the conservation area.
Other important fees at the Ngorongoro crater Conservation Area are the Camping fees. These fees are paid by guests who use public camping sites with their own tents. Filming or photographic fees are also charges in Ngorongoro which is 100 USD per day per person. The filming or Photographic fees exclude the service fees but include the park entry fees. Ngorongoro crater Area Authority is mandated to receive one free copy of the film after it’s done.
You also need to Note that the Ngorongoro crater service fee permit is used and issued once as valid for only one entry. The game drive at the floor of the crater is done on a half-day basis with the last exit at 4:30 pm to allow animals in Ngorongoro time to freely relax as we strive for conservation.
