Itinerary
Day 1; Pick up and transfer to Bwindi national park
You will be picked up by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your trip. After the briefing with your guide, you will proceed to the equator where you will have a brief stopover for photographic moments. You will also visit the local craft shops where you will see the local crafts and art works which are handmade with local materials at the equator.
After the equator experience, you will have a lunch break in Mbarara where you will experience the unique Ankole culture and learn more about their traditions, long horned cattle, how they milk cows and make ghee locally and you will also visit the Igongo cultural center. After lunch, you will proceed to drive to Bwindi national park where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2; Gorilla trekking
You will wake up for an early morning breakfast at your lodge. After your breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters to start your gorilla trekking experience. At the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will also be divided in groups of 8 people to trek one gorilla group and spend 1 hour with the gorillas.
During the gorilla trekking experience, you will follow different trails in the impenetrable forest as you search for the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the gorilla trekking experience, you will trek back to the briefing point at the park headquarters where you will be met by your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast at your lodge, you will have an en-route game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park as you proceed to Entebbe where you will check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Flight to Arusha
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to the airport for your flight to Arusha. On arrival in Arusha, you will be met by your guide who will welcome you and brief you about your safari. After briefing, you will proceed to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro crater, Crater drive
Your guide will meet you ahead of your safari in the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will enjoy more wildlife viewing experiences. You will descend into the Ngorongoro crater where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hyenas, jackals, hippos, zebras, herds of wildebeests.
You will also see attractions such as Lake Magadi where you will see a variety of birds such as flamingos as well as other wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Drive to Serengeti national park
After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Serengeti national park. You will have lunch at your lodge in the national park and later you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park.
You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the big 5 and many others during your Tanzania safari. After your game drive, you will be driven you to your lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Full day Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you shall embark on full day game drives in the park. Enjoy game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible Lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The Visitor Centre close to the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed center offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The center also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the center in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
In the afternoon we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons – including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink! You shall return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Flight to Zanzibar, Stone Town tour
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar Island you will be transferred to your hotel. You will also engage in a tour around the historic Stone town and explore the alleyways and enjoy seeing the beautiful architecture in Stone town.
You will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Safari blue excursion
You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island is which is a truly amazing experience sailing in the beautiful traditional Dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride, enjoy delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, snorkeling and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Day at leisure
Today, you shall spend the day at leisure. You could decide to take walks in the beach, swim in the pool at the lodge, or even simply relax at the pool or anything else that would help you relax as you prepare to bring to a close your Uganda, Tanzania and Zanzibar Safari.

Day 11: Departure
After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, you will be driven to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight.
